After playing around with settings, I was finally able to access my wireless network with my HP iPAQ 110. Here's what I did. Under Wireless > Wireless Security, set the model to WEP, setting a passphrase and generating keys. Make sure your wireless is enabled. Once the network shows in your iPAQ, set the Authentication to Shared and the Data Encryption to WEP. Select the key index and enter the key equal to the Default Transmit Key from the WRT54G.

The following is a review for HP Multimedia Speakers, specifically HP GL313AA#ABA 2-piece USB Speakers. I don't play PC games any more, and I watch (most) movies on my nice television. So, what I really wanted from these little speakers was to be able to listen to iTunes every once in a while, and watch assorted videos online (YouTube, Video.Google, and even Netflix every once in a while). Playstation 3 and the HP Pocket Media Drive

When I purchased my new HP a6360t, I also added in a HP Pocket Media Drive Bay, which allows me to directly connect in a HP Pocket Media Drive. One thing I was curious about was whether the drive I had, a HP 160GB Pocket Media Drive, could be directly connected to my Playstation 3.

Tip: If using the HDMI cable to connect your HP w2207h to a computer (such as the HP Pavilion a6360t), you do not need to connect the monitor to the computer's audio card. Duh. If you switch this, you may also need to close out of programs, such as Internet Explorer 7, in order for them to use the correct audio device.

With a new HP Pavilion a6360t, a number of things needed to be done to clean the machine up, from it's default factory setup. Uninstall Norton Internet Security (there's an uninstall option through the program's Start menu). After a restart, I still needed to go back and delete the empty directory from the Start menu. Uninstall My HP Games through the Control Panel. Each one needed to be selected individually.

HP media drives - pocket versus personal

  • February 19, 2008

Hewlett-Packard (HP) offers a couple of different media drives for sale. These include the HP Personal Media Drives, and HP Pocket Media Drives. Unfortunately, based solely on their site, there's no clear indication of which drive offers exactly what. In order to determine which is which, I ended up consulting both the HP site, and Amazon.com. I did take a look at BestBuy.com, but it seems they don't sell these drives.
