Metal Gear Solid 4 - 2.5 hours in

Wow. Imagine Black, but with stealth, better graphics, and less damagable property, but definitely better sound and effects. That's Metal Gear Solid 4. Despite the fact that I don't play these types of games very often, I only died three times. (Granted, I'm playing one level above wuss.) However, I'm not very fair in, since I've actually been something of a collector in my travels. I've also yet to get used to the sneaking about (oh, you have to hold the button down to grab them, then slash), so I've basically been stealth walking about, bailing out militia.

Review: Microsoft ASP.NET 3.5 Step by Step

The following book review is for George Shepherd's Microsoft ASP.NET 3.5 Step by Step. Based upon the title, 'Step by Step,' you might think that Shepherd's book will actually cover ASP.NET 3.5 in detail, piece by piece. While it's true that he does this, he does it to very little detail. He also makes numerous assumptions throughout the text, which may have you scratching your head more than you usually would, picking up a new language.

Installing TortoiseSVN to Windows Vista

In a previous article, I installed Subversion and TortoiseSVN to a Windows XP Home Edition machine. Later, I upgraded the installation. Just recently I covered installing Subversion 1.4.6 to Windows Vista. This time I'll be installing TortoiseSVN on that same machine. The setup The system I'm using is a HP Pavilion a6360t, with 4GB install RAM, 2.20 GHz, with two cores, running Windows Vista Ultimate SP1, 32-bit. Downloading TortoiseSVN Since TortoiseSVN is for Windows, it makes it even easier to find the version to download.

Just some dummy content while using the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. I tried it with both 'extenders' up when typing the below. If you would please turn your attention to the right, you'll notice that we've done away with all the formalities and gone with simple dishes. I hope this is to your liking.

After sleeping on it (albeit poorly), I've resolved the issue that was stopping production on the new version of my Cross Sums Helper application. However, I need some help testing. Download Cross Sums Helper 2.0 - 67 KB (.NET Framework 2.0 or higher is required). UPDATE: Download Cross Sums Helper 2.1 - 65 KB If you don't have .NET Framework (and are on Windows) let me know - I had a hard time finding any real stats on these numbers, even from MS people.

[14 Reincarnation] (A room comes into view. We slowly zoom in to a mirror showing a girl sitting in a chair.) (Batou:) You're awake. Status report, please. And maybe an explanation about this body. I was in a hurry. It was all I could get on the black market. Not my taste, really. Section 9 arrived with help right after it happened. They took two cyborg bodies and a slightly beat-up Batou back home.
