So, I guess I lied about the upgrade to WordPress 2.0, as I just finished doing it. Doesn't look like one of the old plug-ins is going to work yet, but since I don't use it ...
Why not start out 2006 right?

With the new year, comes a couple of smart technology reminders. Your computer can't stay clean by itself - make sure you're doing your part. And with the new year, and new month, why not verify things are up-to-date now?

Thanks to my sister still being in school, I've been able to pick up a number of very powerful commercial tools for fairly cheap. I'm big on free programs - Open Source being the key word these days - but sometimes the professional's tools are just more than all that.

Great PHP and MySQL tutorial

There's a great tutorial over at http://www.freewebmasterhelp.com/tutorials/phpmysql detailing how to use PHP with MySQL. I worked through this tutorial, along with a couple of others, to setup a pretty simple PHP script. I'll be adding to it for a new gallery (as the old one is too bulky ... ).
